Good quality antique Georgian style Satinwood bookcase in great condition. This piece is very well made & is not looking it's best in the images, because we forgot to put the shelves in. I believe the shelves are solid timber & they are reeded on the edges. There are 3 adjustable shelves in the
top section & one in the bottom. I believe this bookcase was made about 30-50 years ago by a company called 'Carol Brothers' & is beautifully constructed. Apparently they made most of their items for the American market & even had a showroom in the World Trade Centre. It has a dental cornice which lifts off, two astral-glazed doors beneath & a deeper bottom section with two panelled doors. The top section lifts off & the base sits on ogee bracket feet. There is a
makers mark 'Carol Brothers' & it is fabulous quality
